Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Civil Project Manager/Estimator to join their team in Stockton, CA. This dual-role position requires a seasoned professional with proven experience managing and estimating heavy civil construction projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage heavy civil construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals for public and private sector projects.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure project alignment and execution.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Participate in pre-construction planning, value engineering, and risk assessment.

Qualifications:

• Experience as both a Project Manager and Estimator in the heavy civil construction industry.
• Demonstrated experience working on at least one of the following types of projects:
  • Road, highway, or bridge construction
  • Site development
  • Underground utilities
  • Rail infrastructure
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in estimating software and project management tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
