Job Description

THIS ROLE IS BASED IN DALLAS, TEXAS. OUR CLIENT WILL PAY FOR RELOCATION FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE. CHARTER SCHOOL EXPERIENCE WITH MULTI-SITE CAMPUSES IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE.

Director of Enrollment Services and Customer Care

Support charter districts across 80+ campuses and impacting over 22,000 students. The position is full-time, exempt, and located in-house in Lewisville, reporting to the Executive Vice President of Marketing/Communications. As Director of Enrollment Services and Customer Care you will oversee a comprehensive range of student recruitment, admission, enrollment, and student service functions, managing teams, budgets, and technology to achieve enrollment goals, enhance student experiences, and maintain accurate records. This leadership role involves developing and implementing strategic plans, managing operational processes, analyzing enrollment data, ensuring exceptional customer service, and collaborating with other departments to support student success and the institution's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include managing enrollment staff and budgets, coaching team members, collaborating with departments, and serving as a primary point of contact for prospective students and families. Strong leadership, communication, and data analysis skills are essential for this role.

  • Oversee and manage the enrollment process, including re-enrollment, applications, lotteries, and admissions. Strong written and verbal communication skills to provide reports and interact with staff and stakeholders.
  • Manage technology-based enrollment systems and ensure compliance with laws and practices. Maintain the integrity and accuracy of prospective and enrolled student records and ensure adherence to institutional policies and procedures.
  • Train and support school staff, leadership, and parent groups on enrollment processes. Supervise, and evaluate staff, fostering a positive and efficient departmental culture
  • Conduct lotteries, resolve issues, and implement policy improvements.
  • Collaborate with IT and vendors (e.g., SchoolMint) for enrollment system operations.
  • Experience in planning and executing long-term strategies for enrollment growth and student retention. Develop enrollment calendars, procedures, and parent communications.
  • Coordinate uniform sales and compliance.
  • Supervise call center operations and staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management. Provide extraordinary Customer Experiences via the delivery of timely and accurate quotes and customer inquiry support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; experience in project management and K-12 systems preferred.
  • Skills in communication, problem-solving, training, planning, and process improvement.
