Job Description

General Summary:

You will be in frequent contact with perspective and existing customers and sales representatives. The Contracts Administrator takes ownership of the quote-to-contract process while providing exceptional customer service. You will work closely with other teams within Honda Customer Service to ensure customer satisfaction and support company objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare requested service contract quotes for internal and external sales support.
  2. Prepare new and renewed service contracts and initiate signature process with appropriate parties.
  3. Set up and maintain executed service contracts in SAP and Salesforce.
  4. Initiate portal access for new customer contacts with Technical Publications Coordinator.
  5. Collect relative information and process changes of aircraft ownership records in SAP and Salesforce.
  6. Communicate service contract renewal options with customers.
  7. Draft contracts for new products and services offered.
  8. Report on contract metrics as requested by management.
  9. Work with the company legal team to review and suggest changes to existing contracts.
  10. Take an active role with company Business Analytics and IT groups to develop an improved quoting and contract execution process.
  11. Provide back-up support for contract billing administrators.
  12. Work with other Customer Service and company personnel to achieve customer, operational, and business objectives.
  13. Other duties and projects assigned by management.

Education, Work Experience, Certification and/or Licensure:

  1. Associate’s degree or a minimum of two years in contracts administration
  2. Paralegal or legal assistance certification is highly desirable.
  3. Previous experience using SAP.
  4. Experience with aviation maintenance or aviation maintenance manuals.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  1. Three years of preparing, analyzing, and administering contracts.
  2. Multilingual skills, SAP, Salesforce, and aviation maintenance knowledge.
  3. Possess a positive, can-do attitude willing to accept complex challenges.
  4. Ability to create, format, and present using MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to customers and leadership.
  5. Operate with high levels of tact and diplomacy in stressful situations.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Incumbents may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise heat-cold-dust, and/or aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors.
  2. Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
  3. Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions.
  4. Effectively communicate in Business English language.
  5. Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 10 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance, as required by job duties.
